Blob Merge and the number 2048
“2048” is doing three jobs at once. It is a tile people chase inside Voodoo’s crate, it is a separate Android app, and it is the ruleset of a browser board.
The Android app that uses the whole phrase
Google Play lists Blob Merge 2048 as package com.blob.merge.so.game, with 10K+ installs, ads, and an update dated 19 Dec 2025. The top of that page writes the developer in Arabic, وائل حسن الشبكي. The About the developer block writes BADR TOUJGANI. I print both. Picking one would hide a contradiction on a single URL.
The description says players “also can earn real money.” That is the developer’s sentence. No payout method, no rate, no partner is attached to it in the text I saw. I do not turn it into a claim that anyone gets paid.
The board, and the tier
Wobbles Games posted its Blob Merge on 5 Oct 2026: a 4×4 grid, jelly art, one undo, progress stored in the browser. That is 2048’s slide-and-merge rules with a blob coat of paint. Gabriele Cirulli released the original 2048 in 2014; CrazyGames’ 2048 tag repeats that credit. Wobbles says the run ends when no valid move remains, and play can continue after the 2048 tile. Its save feature depends on browser storage being available. I am not publishing a theoretical maximum tile, because the only figure I saw for that came from a search summary rather than a rules page.
Inside Voodoo’s game, 2048 is a big numbered blob, not the whole product. Videos go past it into abbreviations. That chase is documented on the how-to-play page. It is not this Android package.

Is 2048 endless?
On a 4×4 board the run ends when no move remains. Reaching the 2048 tile is not automatically the last move. I do not quote a maximum tile value.
Who made the Android Blob Merge 2048?
The Play page disagrees with itself: وائل حسن الشبكي in the header, BADR TOUJGANI in the about block.
Does Wobbles pay real money?
Its page describes a free browser 2048. The cash sentence belongs to the other Play listing, not to Wobbles.
