How we check a page
Every guide page should answer one search with dated public sources. This page is the rule those pages follow.
What counts
First choice is a store listing or the developer’s own page: Play, the App Store, voodoo.io, itch.io. Second is an independent write-up or a tracker such as androidrank, used beside a store and labeled. Third is a YouTube or TikTok video: useful for what players call a mode, weak as a definition of that mode. A search-result blurb or an automatic summary is a clue that people ask the question. It is not a source for a number.
Two independent publishers supporting the same claim let me mark that claim as cross-checked. Different pages or endpoints from one publisher count as one source. One source stays in the status column as a single source. If Play says 2.9 and the App Store says 3.6, both numbers are printed. If a price is $2.99 on Apple and reviews say $3 to $4, both stay. A blank cell means I did not have a figure, and a blank is better than a guess.
| Grade | Meaning | Example on this site |
|---|---|---|
| Multiple independent sources | Independent publishers support the same claim | Play store plus an independent tracker |
| Store plus another site | Official page plus an independent note | 10M milestone dates |
| One place | Say so in the status column | Playhop search, Infinity wording |
| Missing | Leave the cell empty | Theme names, ninth jar skin |
Corrections
Email [email protected] with the URL and the public page that disagrees. If the new page is a store, the guide changes to match it and the checked date moves. If the new page is a video, it is added as a video, not silently upgraded into a Voodoo rule. The first-person note at the bottom of each page is the editor saying which call they made that day.
Pages are not generated by swapping a name inside one template. A topic without its own facts stays as a row in a table.
Questions people ask
Do you test inside the game client?
The notes rely on public pages, store text, and videos. Each page ends with one limitation sentence about that boundary.
Why are some ratings ugly?
Because they disagree. Smoothing them would be a new number nobody published.
Who writes the note?
The person assembling the page, in the first person, on the date in the note.
